Noticeboard

***IMPORTANT INFORMATION***

Due to the evolving Coronavirus outbreak we wish to prevent possible transmission of infection to both patient and staff. In order to do so we wish to limit the number of people coming into the Health Centre.

APPOINTMENT SYSTEM

From Monday 16th of March, our appointment system will be on the day release of GP appointments from 8.30am each week day morning, which will be triaged by telephone first. Whenever possible patients should book appointments via the telephone only, and will be asked by administration staff for the nature of their problem.

If you do not need to be examined but wish to consult with a GP, consider whether this could be done over the telephone. Staff can arrange a telephone appointment for you.

PRESCRIPTIONS

Please continue to use the online system to order your prescription. Whenever possible, please request that your prescription is sent to one of the local pharmacies so you can go directly there to uplift your medication.

HOW TO AVOID CATCHING INFECTIONS LIKE CORONAVIRUS

You can reduce your risk of getting and spreading respiratory infections by:

  • Avoiding direct hand contact with your eye, nose and mouth
  • Maintaining good hand hygiene – washing hands with soap and water or alcohol hand sanitiser before eating and drinking, and after coughing, sneezing and going to the toilet.
  • Avoid direct contact with people that have a respiratory illness and avoiding using their personal items such as their mobile phones.
  • Covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing with disposable tissues and disposing of them in the nearest waste bin after use.
