Latest News

Please note that the week commencing 24th February 2020, the whole practice is scheduled for an IT upgrade.

During the upgrade we will be unable to process such things as:

  • Prescription requests
  • Clinical results
  • Electronic mail
  • Access patient’s medical records
  • Appointment system

We will not be offering routine appointments during these times either.

Please be understanding at this particularly stressful time for us.

Receptionists ask for reasons for appointments because

To ensure you get the right appointment with the right person at the right time.

To ensure you get the correct length of appointment for your requirements.

To ensure you get the correct clinician.

Most of all, the receptionists are doing exactly as they are instructed to do by the GP Partners. The receptionists ask you for information about your appointment as they are told to do so - not because they're being "nosy"! Please help them to help you by giving them the information they request.

Book appointments and request prescriptions online

Please speak to the reception staff for more information.

Ensure your records are kept up to date

It's also important that we have your current contact numbers. We can often need to contact patients, so ensuring your number is current, ensures we can contact you. Please ensure that we have your current address, home telephone number and mobile telephone number where these are applicable.

Flu Season

Flu clinics will begin in October. This year the flu injections are age related. When you make your appointment you will be asked your age and given the appropriate flu appointment.

Public Holidays

Please note that the Practice will be closed on Wednesday 25th, Thursday 26th of December 2019 also Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd of January 2020. Please ensure you order your repeat medication is sufficient time.
